This Refund Policy applies to all digital products and services purchased through oleumapp.com. Please read this policy carefully before completing a purchase. By purchasing, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
Digital Products Are Generally Non-Refundable
Due to the nature of digital goods — once downloaded or made available, they cannot be returned — all sales are generally final. This is consistent with EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m) regarding digital content.
1. Why We Do Not Offer Refunds
Oleumapp sells purely digital products: files, templates, scripts, and services that are delivered electronically. Unlike physical goods:
- Digital files can be downloaded instantly and cannot be "returned"
- Once a file has been accessed or downloaded, we have no way to ensure it has not been retained
- The product is fully delivered the moment download access is granted
By completing a purchase, you explicitly request immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is waived upon access to the download, in accordance with EU consumer law.
2. When a Refund May Be Granted
While refunds are not standard, we may grant a refund or store credit at our sole discretion in the following exceptional circumstances:
Possible exceptions:
- Duplicate purchase: You accidentally purchased the same product twice within 24 hours
- Technical failure: The product file is permanently inaccessible due to a fault on our side, and we are unable to provide a working replacement within 5 business days
- Significantly not as described: The product materially differs from the description or preview shown at time of purchase, and you contact us within 7 days of purchase
- Unauthorised transaction: You did not authorise the payment (must be reported to your payment provider and to us immediately)
3. What Is NOT Eligible for a Refund
- Change of mind after purchase
- Product does not match your subjective preferences or expectations
- You lack the technical skills to use the product (e.g., a purchased script requires coding knowledge)
- You found a cheaper alternative elsewhere
- You no longer need the product
- Incompatibility with third-party software not specified in the product description
- Requests made more than 14 days after purchase
- Products that have been downloaded more than once
4. How to Request a Refund
If you believe your situation qualifies for a refund exception, follow these steps:
- Email us at info@oleumapp.com with the subject line: "Refund Request – Order #[your order number]"
- Include your order number, the date of purchase, the product name, and a clear explanation of the issue
- If applicable, attach screenshots or evidence of the issue (e.g., broken file, error messages)
- We will review your request and respond within 5 business days
- If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider
5. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or PayPal before contacting us, we reserve the right to:
- Suspend access to your account and all download links
- Dispute the chargeback with evidence of product delivery
- Permanently ban the associated account and email address
We strongly encourage you to contact us directly first — most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably without involving the payment provider.
6. Digital Services
For digital services (e.g., custom website builds, SEO packages, or other service products):
- Services not yet started may be eligible for a full refund
- Services partially completed are eligible for a partial refund proportional to the work remaining
- Completed services are non-refundable
7. Subscription Products
If any subscription-based products or access plans are offered:
- You may cancel a subscription at any time to stop future charges
- Cancellation stops future billing; no partial-period refunds are provided for the current billing cycle
- You retain access to paid content until the end of the current paid period
8. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by applicable EU consumer protection law, including:
- EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights
- EU Directive 2019/770 on Contracts for Digital Content and Services
